“Godspell” Coming Soon to Louisburg College

The inspirational and international hit musical Godspell will be presented April 11-13 and May 1, 2014 at the intimate Norris Theatre, part of the JPAC at Louisburg College.

Conceived and originally directed by John Michael Tebelak, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is one of the biggest off-Broadway successes of all time. Based on the Gospel of Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Broadway hits Wicked and Pippin), Godspell boasts a string of well-loved songs led by the international hit, “Day By Day.” This production stars Louisburg College students, faculty and staff, and features exceptional area students as well.

Shows will be presented at 7:30pm on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12; and at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. A special pre-graduation performance, also open to the general public, will be presented on Thursday, May 1, at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and children; they are available through the Louisburg College Box Office by calling (919) 497-3300.
