Louisburg College Presents “Tuesdays With Morrie” November 9-10, 2013

Louisburg College announces a limited engagement presentation of Mitch Albom’s
and Jeffery Hatcher’s play, Tuesdays With Morrie, November 9 and 10 in the Norris Theatre. Performances both days will begin at 2:00 PM.

Tuesdays With Morrie is the autobiographical memoir of Mitch Albom, an accomplished sports writer driven by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Years after graduation, Mitch learns the professor is battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and the two reunite. What starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage, and ultimately a last class in the meaning of life.

Daniel Dunlow and Wally Hurst will play the roles of Mitch and Morrie respectively. Tuesdays With Morrie is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and children, and can be purchased by calling (919) 497-3300. Tickets can also be purchased at the Louisburg College Box Office (located in the Holt Lobby of the Seby B. Jones Performing Arts Center) from 1-5pm, Monday through Friday, or at the Norris Theatre door before both performances.

Please note that due to the themes of death and dying, this show has been rated “PG-13” by Louisburg College. All tickets are for general admission seating.
