Call for Artists: Kendama decoration for Japan

AcroEntertainment and Wake Forest’s Flow Circus are collaborating to raise money for Japan through a series of fundraising events: They need artists to paint/decorate a small Japanese kendama (see photo attached) to raise money for Japan. They will provide the kendama, you supply the creativity. Finished Kendamas are due May 2, 2011. All painted kendamas will be featured at May’s First Friday, at the PBaRt show at the Design Box.  There will be an auction event that follows, where people can bid on their favorite Kendama. Money raised will be donated to Project Kokoro, a collaboration effort of the Triangle Community Foundation, the Triangle Business Journal, NC Japan Center, and Southern Bridge International, as well as many schools and individuals in the area. All interested artists please email: Katie@acroentertainment.com.
